4.22.08; The amount of activeness here has gone way, way, way down in the last couple months. I'm wondering if more people will post if there's an incentive... so, now there is one! Every in-character post that is made before the end of April will earn 20 points for your house. Go start some threads, people!

3.25.08; Hi all! Happy (official) spring, and a couple announcements to come with it. You might have noticed that Phoenix Tears is losing members, but hopefully it can be resurrected. So, there is an activity check going on here. If you haven't already, please post there. Inactive members (as of March 31) will be marked as such with a turqoise user color. Also, the status has been changed. It is now a warm, blustery March at Hogwarts. Finally, new point-earning contests have been posted in this thread. The Slytherins have been winning for eons, so go earn your house a better name before the semester ends!

"Why did the Hospital Wing have to be on the third floor?" Rose blurted as the three awkward teens, and feline, stopped in the massive door frame. Cou continued on, keeping his head low. Surely the many people in the entrance hall were staring at him, his crusty skin and ever long fingernails were no help when it came to being conspicuous. He could feel the stares boring into his skull, back, limbs, and face. Feet falling ever more rapidly against the stone, the brute made it to the stairs in no time, not glancing at any of the souls in the room. spinning around, he set his souls upon Rose and parted his fangs, "I don't know why its on the third floor but lets hurry, I hate being in here....its so, uncomfortable" he said as he returned his head to its slumped position and continued up the tall stairs.

Cou hated being in an enclosed space around many people. It made him want to break free, run from the scene and collapse under a tree.

The flights of stairs passed by quickly, and he was glad. The sooner he got to the hospital wing and the sooner he left, the more happy he'd be. Besides, his body was starting to ache from the weight of the dead skin. His feet clacked against the last step, as if to say 'you're here!' and the male stopped and gazed up at the hallway for a second. I hate hospitals... he thought as he made his way to the entrance of the cold medical room.

It smelled of herbs and medicine, and it pierced the brute's nostrils like fire to ice. It made him stop, bewildered in the door way. Lids closed tight over yin yang souls, and body quivering, Cou just stood, hoping this could end quickly.

I don't wanna sing. I don't wanna shout. I just want the feeling that I'm living without. What more do you want from me?
